| IDBC stock photography prices depend on the intended usage and the image
file size. The fee grants you a license to use the image for as long as you like
subject to the usage category definitions. If you would like to use the image for
other types of uses, you would need an additional license for that category of use. Usage
Descriptions
Comping/Personal - images may be used for high resolution comping
during the approval and design phase. Personal uses such as school projects,
personal greeting cards or invitations are also covered under this category.
Editorial (Printed) - company newsletters, manuals or other internally
distributed publications, printed magazines, books and newspapers are covered under this
category.
Promotional (Printed) - promotional uses include advertisements,
product brochures, sales flyers, mugs, buttons, t-shirts, company greeting cards and other
business uses.
Electronic Use - this category includes any non-printed use such as
educational CDRoms, games, internet web pages, screensavers, or any other electronic media
distribution.
Note - none of the above categories include any license to copy,
either printed or digitally, images for the purpose of relicensing, reselling or otherwise
